Characteristics:herbivore; height: 85cm, the coat is yellowish brown on the back and white on the belly, the forelegs are dark brown in front, the tail is bushy and white underneath, males are larger and have horns, the southern reedbuck can be distinguished from the Impala by the lack of the three black stripes on the hindquarters and the less red colour, and from the mountain reedbuck by its bigger size and the habitat
